(2011) Biology sciences majors study abroad, Retrieived from, http://www.cie.uci.edu/academics/bio.html
I used this picture on biology to give my audience an idea of what biology is. It also gives the webpage more color and it seemed to fit well.
(June 29,2010) Department of Medicine Newsletter, Retrieved from, http://medicine.med.unc.edu/about/whatsnew/weekly-newsletter
This picture was from the actual school of medicine website and I decided to use it because it shows in a picture, how much concern they have for other people and it just shows the professors and students in action.
(2012) Find logos, smart finder, Retrieved from http://findlogo.net/show/detail/U/unc-tar-heels-25-logo#.UWYBlbU3u3U
used this picture because the logo of UNC would be familiar to everyone
especially because we live in the same state as the university and there are a
lot of fans. It would also show the mascot.
Kokemuller, N. (2013) General Description of being a Pediatrician, Retreived from, http://woman.thenest.com/general-description-pediatrician-13969.html
I used this picture because it explains what a pediatrician does in a picture,
which was a doctor using a stethoscope on a baby. It is a pediatricians job to
take care of children of all ages, this picture just seemed to capture the
actual job.
Lopresti, M (February 12, 2013) USA today sports, Retrieved from, http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/columnist/lopresti/2013/02/12/college-basketball-duke-north-carolina/1913135/
The picture was college students cheering on their team. It shows the campus life
and the support of the students in sports. It also shows the fun you can have in
college on top of all the work that needs to be done.
(2012) Money saving tip number 2, Retrieved from, http://thebottomline.as.ucsb.edu/2011/02/money-saving-tip-number-two
I used the piggy bank surrounded by money to show how much college will really
cost and that it will take a lot to pay for it. It is important to be aware
about the financial aspects of college so you can be prepared for
loans.
